Service Pupils at Alanbrooke
Alanbrooke Academy has a high proportion of service pupils, but is not exclusively for service pupils. We are very proud of our links with the service community on Alanbrooke Barracks and work closely with them and our wider community.
Alanbrooke supports service pupils by providing a welcoming and inclusive environment, understanding the unique challenges they may face due to parental deployment, offering pastoral care, flexibility during transition periods, and awareness of the specific needs that may arise from the service lifestyle.
We follow the seven principles within the Thriving Lives Toolkit to support our service pupils.
The Toolkit is a comprehensive resource designed to support the holistic development of pupils. It encompasses various strategies, activities, and resources aimed at fostering emotional well-being, resilience, academic success, and social development.
